Inclement weather has disrupted the much-anticipated Super Four clash of the Asia Cup between India and Pakistan, which is taking plaŕą„ce in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo on Sunday.

India's Batting Display

At the time of the rain interruption, India had amassed 147 runs for the loss of two wickets in 24.1 overs. The team had been invited to bat first in this 50-over tournament, serving as a precursor to the upcoming ODI World Cup in India.

Key Batsmen at the Crease

Virat Kohli, with eight runs to his name, and the returning KL Rahul, who had reached 17, were holding the crease when rain halted proceedings, and the downpour intensified.

Strong Start, Wickets Fall

The opening partnership between skipper Rohit Sharma, who contributed 56 runs, and Shubman Gill, who made 58, had yielded 121 runs before leg-spinner Shadab Khan and left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed their wickets.
