BCB appointed David Moore as Head of Programmes

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed David Moore as the head of programs. The 58-year-old Australian will join in February. His contract is two years. He will oversee everything of HP and Bangladesh Tigers. David Moore was the coach of the West Indies in 2007.
Moore will decide the plan and strategy of the activities of the High Performance (HP) unit and the Bangla Tigers. Moore is being brought with the intention that the national team can directly benefit from HP and Bangla Tigers.

"I am thrilled to be appointed as the head of the program of BCB. I look forward to working with the head coach, his coaching and support staff, and the cricketers and helping them bring out their talent. '

Moore has never had the opportunity to play for the national team in his playing career. He played a first-class match for New South Wales. However, he also has experience working as a head coach in coaching. In 2007, he served as the acting head coach of the West Indies. He also worked as a coach for Bermuda. He was the last General Manager of New South Wales Cricket.
