According to former Pakistan captain Jꩵaved Miandad, India should come forward to resolve this deadlock. Miandad expressed his thoughts on this topic in the podcast of a Pakistani YouTuber named Nadir Ali.

He said, “Forget about security. We believe that death will come when it comes. Birth and death are in the hands of the creator. If India calls us today, we will go. But they also have to come. Finally, we visited their country. But they never came. Now it’s their turn.”
The last bilateral series between the two countries was in 2012. After visiting India, Pakistan played three ODIs and two T20Is. And India’s last visit to Pakistan was in 2006 when the two teams played five ODIs and three Tests.
