Indian cricket team’s pace sensation, Jasprit Bumrah, and his wife Sanjana Ganesan, are now proud parents to a baby boy. Bumrah, who took a break from his Asia Cup 2023 commitments to be by his wife’s side, joyfully shared the news of their son’s birth via Instagram, accompanied by a heartwarming post. In this social media announcement, Bumrah not only shared the delightful news but also disclosed their newborn son’s name, ‘Angad.’

“Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning, we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can’t wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it,” Bumrah captioned the post on Instagram.

Jasprit Bumrah, a pivotal member of the Indian cricket team, has been making a stellar comeback to international cricket after nearly a year-long hiatus due to a back injury. He displayed excellent form during a T20I series against Ireland and swiftly rejoined the Indian team for the Asia Cup. Although Bumrah featured in India’s opening match against Pakistan, he didn’t have the opportunity to bowl due to persistent rain disrupting the second half of the match.

Subsequently, it was announced that Bumrah would miss the second match against Nepal as he chose to stand by his wife Sanjana during the birth of their child.
