Michael Ripon, who plays for the Netherlands, is now on the New Zealand team

Michael Ripon has played 27 matches for the Netherlands national cricket team. He also played for the Dutch in a three-match ODI series against New Zealand in April. In that series, he scored 109 runs in three matches as well as took three wickets. Af𒉰ter two and a half months, Ripon is going to play for New Zealand.

Ripon will join the T20I squad at the end of New Zealand’s ODI series against the Irish. The Kiwis will then play two T20Is and an ODI against Scotland. In the last series of the Europe tour, New Zealand will play two T20Is against the Netherlands.

New Zealand Cricket said in a statement that according to the ICC’s eligibility policy, a player representing an associate country can play for a full member. But once listed in the squad for a full-member international match, he will no longer be able to return for an associate or affiliated country.
