Faf du Plessis smashed 185 runs in the last match which is the second-highest score in ODIs by a South African. He is currently topping the runs charts in the series and will be the batsman to watch out for along with Hashim Amla who is averaging 69 at the SuperSport Park. Wayne Parnell looks the most threatening of all with the ball. The paceman took a four-wicket haul the other night and is the leading wicket-taker in this series as well as the second-leading wicket-taker at this ground with 21 wickets from eight matches.

Nevertheless, he showed tremendous character along with Niroshan Dickwella who got a fifty as well. Both these openers will be the key men with the bat in this match. Nuwan Kulasekara is the most experienced of all the Sri Lankan bowlers on this tour and since the wicket is likely to offer support for the seamers, he could end up having a good day with the ball.
