The ghost of racism is still hidden in English cricket. Sometimes it raises its head. The England Cricket Board has taken action against five cricketers for posting racist posts on social sites. All five accused cricketers have been publicly reprimanded.
They have also been warned that if they make the same mistake in the future, there will be a bigger punishment.

Of these five, two are men, two are women and one is a former cricketer. They are Jack Brooks, Azim Rafiq, Evelyn Jones, Daniel Watt, and Andrew Gayle. All five cricketers have been found guilty under Section 3.3 of the England Cricket Board. Chris Tickle, the head of the Cricket Discipline Commission, called them to his office and reprimanded them in front of everyone. There was no punishment other than reproach in this journey.
