The Tigers left Dhaka at night to play the tri-nation series

Bangladesh national T20 team will leave Dhaka for New Zealand today after a day’s rest after returning from UAE. The Tigers will play a tri-series with New Zealand and Pakistan there.

Nurul Hasan Sohan will leave to play the tri-nation series on Friday night. They will catch the flight to New Zealand at 11:55 pm. Regular captain Shakib Al Hasan is expected to join New Zealand directly.

Bangladesh captain Shakib, who played for Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), will join the team from the West Indies in New Zealand.

Bangladesh will get a chance to play at least four matches in the tri-nation series in New Zealand. Apart from Bangladesh which hosts New Zealand, the other team in the series is Pakistan. This series is preparation for the World Cup.

Bangladesh Squad: Shakib Al Hasan (Captain), Sabbir Rahman, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Liton Das, Yasir Ali, Nurul Hasan (Vice-Captain), Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Ibadat Hossain, Hasan Mahmud, Nasum Ahmed and Nazmul Hossain.

Standby: Shariful Islam, Rishad Hossain, Mehdi Hasan, and Soumya Sarkar.
