West Indies announced the squad for the series against Zimbabwe

The West Indies have announced the squad ahead of the two-Test series in Zimbabwe. Jayden Seales is not in the squad against the Rhodesians due to injury. Shannon Gabriel has been called up instead. Gudakesh Moti and Jomel Warricane have also been included in the team.
At present, he is trying his best to recover. Anderson Phillips has been ruled out due to in🌼jury. Shamarh Brooks has been🌃 dropped from the team.

Shannon Gabriel last played a Test in the West Indies against Sri ✤Lanka in November 2021. The star performed well in the Superfitty Cup last year. Like Gabriel, Warrican also played his last Test against Sri Lanka.

Announcing the squad, chief selector Desmond Haynes said, “Gabriel is a very experienced bowler. He has been playing international cricket for 10 years. He knows very well about the conditions in Zimbabwe. He was also with the team when they won the series there in 2017.
